Not really on most peoples door steps either, I can get to the alps in a shorter time than I can to a ski slope in scotland!!

I think your T shirt joke has flown over most people's heads, but it make me chuckle! Tried skiing in Scotland a couple of years back, unfortunately it was closed for two of the three days we were there, but it was great for one day.

Ok, maybe not exactly on your doorstep, but involves nothing more than a drive, albeit a long one!

I'm Scottish and have worked in the past in the skiing industry up here and wasn't exactly an advocate of it in the past ... it can be pretty hardcore dodging rocks in the rain ... but this season has been amazing, crystal clear blue skies and perfect snow ... just saying is all.

I have skiied in England some really goof skiing if the condition are right, but thata a 2.5 hour drive!!

even i live in fife its not the easiest place to get too the snow gates always seem to be shut
