Don't forget that most of the ski centres in Scotland must pay VAT on their lift pass sales. (The only country in the EU that must do this). Something to do with drag lifts not being classed as 'transport', whereas chairlifts/gondolas are. That means that a £25 lift pass in Scotland would equate to approx. £21 elsewhere in the EU.

Fair? No

Two of the centres took this to court, employed a QC and lost the case as great cost to them.....


Either way it is much better value than the ...

OK, fair comments regarding lift pass prices I hve paid myself at the indoor slopes and they are £25 for an hour, so £25 for the day isnt so bad.
