If you want self catering don't book Malina Village - there was one ring which took ½ hour to heat the one pan of water you get - the fridge didn't work and all the crockery was chipped - I don't know how they can advertise it at self catering - we took lots of things for the kids to eat and couldn't cook a thing
our fridge didn't work when we go there, but we told reception on our first morning and it was working (a bit too well) by the time we got back. No, it is not really suitable for proper cooking but I don't think you will find too much in resort to cook with, ie snack food available but veg etc not. Bakery just up the hill from taxi rank which starts by Pete's Bar/ gondela is cheap and fresh.
