Yes but we had already wasted 2 full mornings EMJAY. We told them clearly that we'd been put in a group way below ability and had wasted a full morning and the kids were black and red run skiers. So the next day..... they (I was ill) were put in a group of slow snowploughers and slowly brought down the musalla pathway 50 metres at a time. . They were not prepared to waste yet another day so left it and had great fun for the rest of the week, and as I said above, did more skiing the last 4 days than probably anyone else. We could've complained every day and wasted every morning. wasn't worth it. They had great fun once they kicked the ski school into touch!

With respect I am just perplexed as to why you are on here Skategirl running Borovets down.....you tried it, didn't like it, so leave it there and move on.

I am sure there are not many people around that can 'bomb' down black runs but still feel the need book a week of lessons?

I will be flying out to Borovets on Saturday and I know that we will have a wonderful time! It cannot be beaten for value for money. We take three holidays abroad a year some high budget and some low budget, but I am sure I speak for many when I say that Borovets is a Gem.

It really is time to put it to bed now as I would hate to think that you are worrying first timers to Borovets.

Point made!!, I know only to well that the schools run by the main operators are not up to much, I had a similar experience two years ago. but they do have some good instructors.

The smaller schools Hunters and Snowmasters are fantastic,

Don't you think that it is time to draw a line under this, I am frightened that you are going to burst something. Borovets is not for everyone, and before you ask I have skied elsewhere, Italy mostly but I do like Bulgaria and have made some really good friends.
One last thing everones opinion is relevant, its just that we are all different !

I came back to give my opinion as I was asked to do when i first came on here to ask about the weather, I was sent here by someone on Trip Advisor.

So I gave an honest opinion and then get bombarded with ridiculous questions ( such as why someone who can bomb down black runs has to pay for lessons) I have already said SEVERAL TIMES my kids are black and red run confident and never normally have tuition, but as it was included in the ski pack I thought they would benefit if they availed themselves of them, because anyone, even top skiers receive instruction, because no matter how good or how confident you are, there is ALWAYS room for improvement. Does Andy Murray never receive tuition? Do Wayne Rooney and John terry never get coached??? of course they do!

So, I came back to give my opinion and have had to repeat myself hundreds of times because of stupid comments which I have to say is wearing my patience rather thin as I do not suffer fools gladly!!!

It seems people on here just love Borovets like it is a fond old auntie that they cannot bear to hear a bad word said about and so get their knickers in a twist if anyone dares to say otherwise. yes it's a cheap place to ski but in reality it's like the slums of the ski world and its black runs are not even like red runs elsewhere and I think you need to be a bit more open to criticism, as it isn't the marvellous place you claim it is!

Ha ha,just couldn't resist that one Queenie. I think the main problem here is that scootygirl couldn't ski cause she had a cold, and failed to visit Bobbys bar and achieve enlightenment . If i didn't go for some Apre ski before,during and after a day on the mountain i maybe slightly tense. The main problem before skattygirl went away was her worry of no snow, well she got snow but still wasn't bloody happy. You just can't please some people. Roll on 28 days!!!!!!
