you usually pay around 10 leve deposite in all the resorts get it back when you hand them back in. I personally would'nt buy boots off of ebay you need to try them on and get them fitted properly I bought a pair in bansko last year cost me around £60 brand new and got them fitted, try for a package will get a bit better deal, but the boots skis and poles are resonable we paid 110 euros last year for two pairs of skis and one pair of boots with poles just as an idea.
