I agree with Clive on this one. Angie and I have had board bags for several years now and get an awful lot in them. Maybe we've pushed our luck so far, but we've never been challenged yet on weight or what we are carrying in them.Probably this is the year we get caught out now!

Simon, be careful about too much weight in one bag, I am sure I read that the maximum weight of a checked bag has been reduced to max 25kg.

Thanks Don I have just checked the easyjet website and it still says maximum single bag 32kg.•We support health and safety guidance for checked luggage and recommend that you keep the weight of each individual bag below 23kg wherever possible.
•Legally we must apply a maximum limit of 32kg so any individual bag weighing more than 32kg cannot be accepted!

You may consider taking only tour boots and hire skis on the spot.prices these days are cheap and every time you try different pair according the weather.
NOTE: carry small screwdriver with cross and flat end know your DIN and have fun.
Or if you are going to the same place leave the skis there for the next time andpay carriage only one way and at the end of season take them again with cariage one way.
That way you can squash eveeything even in a hand luggage (providing you fly with ...

I have managed to put in hand baggage helmet ski boots bit and pieces googles gloves etc go in jacket pockets and you wear your salopetes.
Mind you i always go for 3-4 days at the time but very often.dont queue for check in and save time there and back.

Even better with easyjet now.When checking on line you choose your seat for free(from block of seats) and that way you dont have to even queue for boarding.just enter the plane and get to your seat.
Flew this week with them and it is briliant.
