Gotto be versatile with the clothing - wear it for skiing with the fleece attached, wear it without for a casual jacket, wear it for walking, trekking back in the UK.....
as Del would say - You know it make sense!
Sam,
Triclimate covers a big range of jackets, usually with silly names, and often to skiing spec. Obsidian and Gravitation are two examples.
They have zip up snow skirts, lift pass pockets, goggle pockets.
Just because they don't have a pocket to put your ski's in doesn't mean they're not ski jackets.
Oldieski,
Totally agree. Versatility is the name of the game here. The inner coat is light and very comfortable, but still warm. The outer coat has loads of pockets, snowskirt and hood ...

Too expensive for me. Cost £160 to use one for twenty minutes.
New Years eve we all went outside to see the fireworks. Freezing cold so I put on somebodys HH jacket that was hanging up in the hallway. Left my camera in the pocket. Never saw it again.
I Love Helly Hansen but have never tried it - saw a HH jacket in sale £30 reduced from £160! ( and still online at that price!) They didn't have my size - I rang the shop every day for a week then just had to give up. Actually thought about putting on half a stone just to get the size they had Their base layers are really toasty!
