re: Ski Passes

joe!
Cairngorm has the top of the mountain open and Cass blue run down to the Gunbarrel open (was there at the weekend)
Lecht has skiing on, though narrow on the eagle, its skiable, Glenshee has quite a few runs open, as for Nevis,. never checked that one out sorry!
With continued snow forcast, should improve.
Scotland is allways rather extreme, but fills in the gaps between Bulgaria visits!

re: Ski Passes

do you just go up for weekends - people I know have said that it can be expensive and its just as cheap and easy to get last minute deals to go to europe is that what you've found?

Cairngorm has all the top bowl open plus the blue run down to the gunbarrel, lecht has a few runs open though the eagle is narrow in places. Glenshee has quite a few runs open, but as far as Nevis is concerened i cant comment cos I was not there. Its still snowing and the runs are filling in still, so get yourself up for rather "extreme" skiing Scottish style. I have 44 people on a trip going up in a coulple of weeks so i hope the snows still there!
PS Bulgariaski.com are looking for me to ...

PS Bulgariaski.com are looking for me to take them over to Borovets next year instead for a long weekend if possible, thats better!

re: Ski Passes

Sharon, In Boro you DO need to clip your pass to an elastic thingy.

The gates to the lifts scan the barcode on the end of the pass so you do need to physically push it in the machine and then keep it back in your jacket.

I believe in Pamps the magic scanners work but not in Boro.
