Last year when we were in Boro we heard that for one night in the week the ski instructors put on a show with jumps etc. This didn't happen last year due to the lack of snow.
Has it been on this year at all? Is it worth a visit? Any details or info would be appreciated!
My mum said she saw it this year. (the night show I think)
She didn't pay to watch, instead went to one of the bars facing the ski jumps which has an area outside to sit and watch. All for the price of a few drinks!
I forget the name of the bar though. Someone will know
They perform every Wednesday, next slope over from Rila.
Instructors have to join in so many shows in the season and sell tickets or they are blasted by Borosport. I think it was 22lv per person.
We booked a table at a restaurant (next to old kindergarten building) and once we had eaten came outside to watch. We then quickly came back inside to continue warming ourselves by the log fire with a hot toddy ( or 2 or 10!). Good food.
The first time is ok but I wouldn't pay to see it ...

Stand facing the big jump they have made for the show, restaurant is over to the right. Has picnic benches and big BBQ outside. You will have to book earlier in the week though as the whole area is roped off by Borosports, collecting tickets and money on the night
i seen it 2 weeks ago on wed night i just sat in th reception bar of the ice angels hotel and watched it for free with a beer and it was nice and warm in there .
