I always used to take mine as hand luggage and then last year pretty much every company clamped down and refused to let them on so packed them in my suitcase to avoid paying carriage at overinflated prices at the airport. Either that or prebook it just in case.
Most airlines allow 5kg as hand luggage so if your boots are under you should be fine. I have always taken mine as hand luggage but in a regular holdall with Easy jet wizz air this was not a problem.
There is only normally size and weight restrictions for hand lugage so check with who you fly with.
We have just flown out with whizz and got away with quite abit, we were even 5kilo over and didnt get charged
Thanks. Looks a little inconclusive though. As for balken air i wouldn't fly with them again anyway. They'd refuse to let you breath on board if they thought they could get away with it.
hi damo ... boots are dangerous weapons .. many airline staff have lost limbs and even lives... thats why you cannot take them in the cabin......................when my boots are strapped to my skis .. then they are dangerous weapons
