re: Ski helmets?

pete its opinion so no need for sorry..

but i agree about goggles for dodgy conditions, personally i wear goggles whatever the weather is like, i just dont like sunglasses..but my girlfriend only ever wears sunglasses.

i got the impression that this is the first time sandra and her family will have been skiiing and are likely to spend most of the holiday on the lower slopes not going very fast. if the snow is heavy then they will probably be fine wearing neither..

re: Ski helmets?

i was actually thinking more down the line of spending a couple of hundred quid on goggles that probably wouldnt get used..

re: Ski helmets?

Personally I think goggles are a must, but didnt feel the need on the 1st two ski holidays we went on. We were very lucky that we got excellent sunshine for the two weeks tho.

Ski holiday 3 was a different story tho, with wind snow, & a bit of speed. After day one the 4 of us couldnt get to the ski shop/street vendor quick enough to buy goggles, face masks & neck warmers.

Like Bob we havent wore sunglasses since.

BTW I bought goggles off one of the street vendors in Bansko 4 years ...

Just packed them again for their 5th ski holiday....what a bargain!!!! (Never fogged up once)

Headin to Bansko tomorrow night...will hardly get to sleep tonight!!! Still cant wait!!!! (Sorry Pete!!!)
