During the day you seem to be fine in Borovets, it's in the evening when everyone starts drinking is when theft takes place, or you are so pissed you forget where you have left it.

Queenie - look at getting a board lock for the Lib Tech (not sure how it would work with skis though.

I have a Burton lock - sure the wire looks like a cheap pair of tin snips could cut through in a split second (and they probably could), but it's a deterrent more than anything.

I usually am able lock 3 boards together through the bindings

i know its no good with a board, but with ski's we never ever leave them paired up - my husband and I always swap one ski and then 'park' our ski's as a mismatched pair and always a long way from the other mis matched pair. No opportunist thief is going to steal a pair that doesn't match.

It also pays to do this with hire skis too - it is not unheard of for unscrupulous hire shops to pinch and hide skis and force you to claim on your insurance (not in Pamporovo, came across this in ...

I also have a lock. Just gives u peace of mind if u need to leave the board out of sight.

great tip queenie ,also i note that some insurance companies are saying your insurance is void if you don't wear a lid. steve.g
