Ski or Snowboard?

Hi all,I'm off to Bansko on the 18th & I still can't make up my mind whether to ski or snowboard. I've never done either before so am a total beginner - what do you advise?

hey, im a boarder, so im obviously biast, never tried ski'ing.....with boarding though, even when ur on ur arse u look cool, cos u still look like a boarder, with ski'ing u get all the wobbly legs crap lol.....hope that makes ur dicission much easier lolre: Ski or Snowboard?
Depends on what you pain threshold is like. A lot of people come home from boarding and hurt for some days, but with skiing people generally dont. Snowboarding does look cool at first but when you can master a bit of style skiing there is no contestre: Ski or Snowboard?
Not worried about the pain thing, just wanna know which would be more fun & which is easier to pick up. I get the impression boardings better at the start but skiings better once you get good?re: Ski or Snowboard?
The only thing i would say is there is not really a great deal of off piste in Pamporovo so the skiiers can sometimes get in your way and a snowboard is harder to control. I am a skiier so a little biast but boarding does look like a lot of fun.re: Ski or Snowboard?
Boarding is sick once you get good! its fun to learn but when once you master is you can experiance something most skiiers are afraid of, OFF PISTE POWDER! BABY!

if you like being on the floor in a heap most of the time try boarding!! If you prefer being upright most of the time and like going very fast go skiing!!!!re: Ski or Snowboard?

i've skiied and snowboarded, when begginer on the board u spend alot of time falling over, however can get on blue runs faily quickly, skiing i like better easier on the lifts dont have to keep undoing bindings!i'm going in half term hope you have a gd time
