Snow cover now down to Challin Valog, but only light cover... Snow forecast to continue for the next few days with the heaviest at the weekend... I think the chances look pretty good

Opening ceremony definately on now on Saturday due to new snow and continued forecast. Its going to be busy with the local vip's and visitors. We're driving up about 09.30 as i doubt we'll get on the gondola. Im looking forward to it, should be good with the ex champions slalom, and party
Have waxed our skis to hopefully have a skid about, and should get a little in next week as well

Hi all,

Im due to arrive on the 12th and the people we booked our lift passes through have recommended we accept a full refund as they claim that the person who operates the ski lifts (Ulen) says they will not open untill the 15th.... can anyone shed any light on the situation?

Well, lets just say that an opening ceremony normally coincides with the, errrrrr, opening ???? But hey !!! BG can still surprise you...
I'll check, but im pretty confident its this weekend, anyway, Mats coming up, they gotta open
