prices are higher ...if yr NOT lucky with the snow and a beginner the lower slopes are not fun.. the only way to ski is to go to the upper slopes on the only gondala which is often closed due to high wind or maintenence and massive waits with ppl pushing in ..having said that its good at the top Sure things are basic so if yr not a snob you can meet and have a good time with ppl you dont know...if that makes sense . other resorts are now cheaper in comparison now in europe
I went xmas 2006 with family complete beginner i was also really worried that i had made a big mistake by reading this board but found it fine. snow wasn't great but all still enjoyed it. its a different country a different way of life you just need an open mind by able to laugh and let things go if they aren't exactly as you would like !
lots of people on this forum take things way too seriously
its a holiday after all
Thanks for all your posts guys. I have an open mind and we had a great holiday last time we went so fingers crossed we get some decent snow! Does anyone know a good place to hire some ski's?
