The restaurants on the slopes in Bansko seemed to be mainly non-smoking but I think that was an exception. I think if a ban is brought in it will take a while, Bulgaria has one of the highest rates of smokers in Europe. It used to make me giggle seeing instructors lighting up in the lift queues / on the lifts.
It's a whole other world over there isn't it! My friend got stopped for speeding and he just gave them a money so as he didnt get any points on his liscence.
Nah.... its the same world over here just a different interpretation that's all. Oh and worn your friend he might not get so lucky next time the boys in blue got a pay rise recently to stop just that sort of practice.
I know, pretty lucky he didnt get the points in the first place...i'm sure there are not many who would have accepted money. On a different note, I like the interpretation of the world over there...when you see the real country (not what tourists, including myself at first), you discover a lot more
