Snow All Over Pamporovo

Whiter than the cliffs of Dover
In fact there was so much snow last night, all but one of the webcams are out of action.
My guesstimate would be about 3-4 feet of snow fell yesterday and it's still hammering it
down.
Guess who's going out there next weekend !!!

My son and 3 friends are in resort now. Electricity is out and lifts are not running, so they are waiting it out in the Spider bar.Will give updates if I can, but his phone is running out. They are a bit concerned about getting back to Plovdiv airport on Monday, as further 18 ins of snow predicted by then.

Only the single chair open today and ski center 1 lift up until midday.
There have been power outages through the day due to the weather.
1 metre in 24hrs!……
Very little traffic on the roads all day.
From my Apartment window that overlooks Ski Center 1 Not a single car in the car park all day.
Resort will be fully open tomorrow.
Fantastic conditions for everyone starting their ski holiday tomorrow.

Yes, i think that they have had a pretty good dump!It just goes to say - If you want to go to Pamporovo when there is plenty of snow - book for the same time as PP or SW as we certainly seemed to have timed it perfectly this year!

As great as it seems, I reckon those going out soon might be better off if the rate of snowfall slows down now.My son seems a bit fed up - lifts not working, no power in our apartment (and it appears large parts of the resort as well).
He is coming home tomorrow, and is hoping the road to Plovdiv is passable.
We will see.

You're right Snow White. I've been going to Pamporovo now for 22 years and it has neveryet ever let me down.
The snow I believe is forecast to last a few more days before returning to sunshine and milder weather for next week.
The only word I can think of is PERFECTION
