Remember they're ski schools and not prisons. If you want to leave early it's your choice.If you leave early or intend to miss a day, let the instructor know so he isn't hanging around waiting for you. (Or calling rescue services out to look for you.)

just rememeber though if you leave early on a regular basis and the class advances beyond your ability the instructor can refuse to have you back in the class. they put you classes of ability for a reason other thing on my first ski trip there was no way I would have gone off without the instructor, one person did and when they got to the top had to walk down took them over two hours.re: Snow Borovets and tips!!
Hi FraserThanks for your comments. FIrst of all - don't be silly, fairies don't exist. As for no snow - how on earth would you ski on rocks??
That aside, my hubby went skiing last year and it didn't snow all week and by the end of the week it was like ice, so perhaps not a silly question after all !
Re the lessons, I've read on these forum pages that they can get a bit boring as waiting around a lot so, again, perhaps not a silly question !!

I am in a gang of 6 couples coming out to Borovets on 26 Jan - can't wait! Returning after last year's experience there.
There is loadsa snow which is brill as last yr was a struggle on a couple of days.
I would advise to go with a ski school (my instructor Emo was great) they take you on the best runs etc... Like a number of the others have said it starts @ approx 10am and finishes around 3ish (the only problems experienced last yr was when we had to wait for the ...
