Snow Report!!

What has happened??Earlier this week all the reports were saying Friday, Saturday and Sunday were all guaranteed snow!!
Now they are not!!
I am now going to have another meltdown after such a positive start to the week!!
I'm scared momma!!

Get use to it Benn - it's just another season of crazy Bulgarian weather forecasts. Been like that for the past 20 years! On the upside, there have been many times that we wondered if it was worth going because of the bad snow reports only to get there and find it perfect.As Bon Jovi said..........

i'm scared too...been looking at the snow report daily as flying to Borovets Saturday, for what at the beggining of the week looked to be bloody good timing.....Apparently not?!
Am I going to be doing more hiking than skiing?
to make matters even worse, this is my first ski holiday?!

Just take a look at what is happening in the world and in particular Australia and Brazil. The whole world is having crazy weather. But I can say that in BG the locals are saying that it will snow this weekend or early next week.
When I compare the weather conditions from last year to this they are almost identical. I went back to BG towards the end January to good snow and in February and March had oodles - so much so that I couldn't get my car out of the garage. I couldn't even get ...

BTW, if all else fails you can do the "traditional" snow dance.Go into the forest, consume a fair amount of alcohol to combat your inhibitions, strip off and dance around the trees. To make sure you have got the snow spirits with you this ritual should be repeated the next day in the same place. The only problem is, if you get too drunk, you forget where the spot is

Trouble is that if it just snowed then you would have whiteout all the time ;-)I've plumped for 5th March in the hope that Feb gets regular snow to build up the base, still hopefully not too warm and we get some snow during the week.
Fact is there is nothing I can do about it of course and simply have to take it as it comes. I am sure there will be something and we will have a great time!
