have not posted for a while--but also agree with PP--even if there is snow, it will likely be very heavy conditions in the afternoons, icy in the mornings, with a good chance of mud etc poking thru--esp in Pamps with an April easter. as always tho pays yer money and takes yer chance
For the last six seasons skiing has been available around Easter in Bansko. Now i cannot say that the conditions were perfect, but it was possible... What makes this season and following seasons a better possibility is the large numbers of snow cannons in resort, and the fact that they run them whenever possible. This creates a good base that will cope with higher temperatures. Personally i like the time around the end of March, longer days, sunnier, and quieter. With referance to last ...

Well I went in Easter 2008 and it was fantastic blizzard like conditions for 2 days to start with and empty pistes which was perfec for us.
We are novices so guess that empty slopes certainly helped us learn quicker than usual.
This was Bansko and there was no snow in the village it was rain there but you could in theory still ski all the way down but we didnt.
Have booked for Feb 2010 & Easter 2010 we are not planning on booking the lift pass before we arrive just in case the ...

Clearly were thinking Feb2010 will be fine fo snow butif you look back year on year Late March/Early Apr really has been goo snow/better than Feb... but clearly noone can tell for the future.
