Snowboarding Beginner

Hey there

I am going with my partner to Borovets next weekend, and have booked myself the snowboarding package with Neilson. Has anyone had experience with the instructors this company use?

I am gonna be taking the lessons on my own and meeting up with my partner afterwards. Any tips on how I can handle the chaos of getting organised on my first day?

Are the drag lifts really horrendous for snowboarders?!?

Many thanks

re: Snowboarding Beginner

sorry - we are there this weekend and my hubby is a snowboard instructor so would have asked him to give a "helping hand" if you had been there at the same time. Enjoy yourself and just stay calm - go with the flow and if you fall, you fall, so what!!!

re: Snowboarding Beginner

Hi there

You do tend to see more boarders come off the long drag lifts than skiers. Don't worry as eating snow is all part of the fun - enjoy.. Very Happy

Thanks guys, I think I've got it now.....be prepared to laugh and prepared to fall - alot - and try to avoid the lemonade and chocolate spots left by fellow beginners!!
