Snowy Norman - An Apology

A little while ago I contested Snowy Normans comments that all tour operators were dropping Plovdiv airport and only using Sofia for 2009 flights. Whilst Balkan are still offering Plovdiv on their homepage, it is not available when trying to secure the booking.

I apologise fully to Norman for doubting his posting and hope he accepts this in the courteous manner in which it is meant.

Don't think they are Lisa. If you search the websites and try to book a holiday through them the destinations come up as Sofia. At least it does for me.

hi pete, am just sat at work now and i work in a travel agents and am thinking of booking the doncaster flight and its defo flying into plovdiv, whether they change it throu the year obviously they can do and advise us, other than that my other choice from ncl the flight with balkan is also still flying in plovdiv at the moment but again balkan can change that to, but it will allow you to book it.

your telling me and am working in the funny old game, makes me look abit stupid if i do bookings and it all changes, but we definatley havent had word from any of

I just wonder if any of this is stemming from the alterations due to take place at Plovdiv during the summer, Runway work and providing another four stands. Are they thinking about overrun of work like what happened at Sofia.
