re: Sofia Airport

We flew from the new Terminal at Sofia this weekend. It was all very new....so new that there was not a single shop open. There were several small bars in the concourse, but the only food that was available was chocolate and crisps.
However it was much more pleasant than Plovdiv, but you need to take your own food with you in case of a lengthy delay.

New terminal is wicked - very clean, but again shopes not open (although was v early). You can't smoke anywhere in the new terminal - so if you are a smoker, do your "thang" before going through passport control.
