Taking the kids out of school

The BBC is doing a programme about families who take their kids out of school to go skiing. Is there anyone who is doing this and would be prepared to have the BBC film them getting ready for their holiday.

It would be some fab publicity for Bulgaria - if you are interested, let me know and I'll pass on your details.

I'm sure my life is too dull to interest the BBC, but I am taking my daughter out of school for w/c 19th Jan. So if they are struggling to fill air time, oh go on then.

I am going to Bulgaria Skiing in 2 weeks and have taken my daughter out of school for a week because of it. We maybe interested if you can tell me what it will involve.

Personally I think they should be shot.

They get all the bum boards before me!!!!!!!!

Would be very happy to act the kid...... comes quite natural.

Hiya Judith, I think a documentary of you building up to skiing the wall would be MUCH more interesting!!!

Sorry can't help as we are paying all the extra dosh required to go during half term otherwise I would have had 2 wonderful candidates!!!

I refuse to pay the extra, just because it is holiday time. As far as I'm concerned if my daughters school can close for a day on the first day back after every holiday and half term for teacher training, then they can do without her for 5 days in the middle of the term.

why do they have training days in term time???? they have more holls than any one

Oh don't get me started on that. It is my biggest bugbear. Even more annoying is that I have to take the day off work everytime because they don't give you enough notice. I use about 6 days of my annual holiday entitlement up just because of teacher training.
I mean they can close the school for training but if I want to get a day off for my child I have to get written permission in triplicate from all and sundry at the school.....see you've got me ranting now!!

have just been to see headmistress myself about getting son out for next weeks trip to borovets did not have the audacity to tell her about florida in april though.I am a school handyman so not allowed school holidays off because it my busiest time
