The White House- Borovets

So then. The White House is a THE place to start the day with a coffee or (brandy) hot chocolate and to have lunch each day.

Where is it?
Go to the top of the gondola where the best runs/conditions are. Turn right towards the green slope.
Walk/ski down the pathway and they are the first place on the right.

Who runs it?
Kas & Bobby run this place and they are both great people. Bobby is also a teacher for Hunters and is a VERY good teacher. Skiing or boarding at all levels. ...

Bobby's cousin George runs the place day to day and looks like he should be wrestling bears in the woods rather than bringing you your large pint and a Rakia!
Really friendly but careful as his idea of a 'shot' of Rakia is more like half a pint! It does make skiing easier post lunch though!

Why go there?
A lot cheaper than the other options up there.
The beer is good.
They serve the grape Rakia which tastes nicer than the other one
The food choices are exactly what you want for a lunch (Burgers, pizza, jackets, pork steaks, chips n cheese. Plus they have a daily special).
Friendly service.
Everyone talks to everyone (Kas makes sure of that!) so you will make loads of friends (we sure did!)
Perfect location to start and finish!

Basically- can't recommend highly enough!

The White House is an essential daily visit. You feel like a regular even on your first visit. Really friendly and a genuinely nice place to be.
