The best time to book for 2009?

I've went to Pamps two weeks ago. Missing it already. I'm hoping to go twice next year, depending on costs. Maybe over new year.
Is new year in Pamps good? Also when is the best time to get good deals on flights and transfers for new year? Which company's would be best to use for both? Don't need accomodation as have own appartment.
Your help would be good.

The only thing to do is to keep watching Easy Jet and Wizz's web sites. We booked our February trip with Easy Jet in July last year. We called our friends straight away and by the time they had booked it the same day had gone up already.

best advice is either keep looking until you find a price you want to pay or wait until last min and see it you can get a cheap deal.

We've just returned from a fantastic week in Boro.

...and booked again for next year! Have to go for half term week, so not worth wating for last minute and potentially missing out! Razz

Depending who you booked with some tour operators are giving a loyalty discount along with earlier booking deals.

Go to the Alps the week before Christmas - we (family of four) booked about 6 weeks before that date and paid £500 less than we've paying for out trip to Bansko in a couple of weeks time.Obviously keep an eye on snow forecasts.

We did the same, went for what they call Powder week 19th jan, for some reason a cheap week in Austria, got massive reductions on a deal 4 weeks prior to going. And wow it was powder just buggery expensive to Booze
