Hi, you are never to old for thermal undies, we have just got back from borovets and used ours and i have just washed them to pack away until next year and checked the label and in all of mine it says 50%polyester/50%viscose and 50%polyester/50%cotton so i hope this helps, happy skiing.
I work in a ski shop, i have found that the helly hanson base layers are the best, although the most expensive out there. thought u can get some less expensive one but these tend to be more of the fleacey vairity, losts of companies make these types. The helly ones are more skin tight.
Skidude
Yup i used them, and at 30 I hope I am not deemd as 'an oldy'
I got mine off EBay, cheap as chips I think £10 for top and bottoms, off an army surplace store, standard army gear and they work a treat.. shame about the colour though... standard army green.. haha.
Hi,
Try WildDay.com
You can get a Five Seasons Polyestermicro full base layer, top and bottoms in black, so you don't look a fool, for £18.75 and this material is supposed to be best for wicking, which draws the moisture away from the skin to the next cotton layer where it is absorbed and keeps you warmer.....so I've read!
I found Helly Hansen a bit pricey, but these seem just as good.
