AdamIts a shame you feel as you do, we were in Boro for the 1st time Jan 16th last year and had a great time, snow wasn't great but there was enough skiing going on, we enjoyed it so much we went back 4 weeks later - Doing the same this year, flying out on 16th Jan (doing a snow dance) and again on 6th Feb - Its so cheap we can squeeze 2 hols at the begining of the year - Can't wait to see all our friends again- If we went to Euro zone we could only afford 1 week.

If someone feels they have been mislead into making a decision, then unfortunately its their mistake, and perhaps a lesson to learn.
Check local forecasts, webcams (best option !!), and get feedback from people actually in resort..
Its a shame Adam feels he was mislead by the tourist board/vested interests etc... its to no ones advantage to lie about conditions, as its so easily found out...
As for spending as much as a week in London in Boro ....
that must have been one hell of a ...
