This years rentals

Did anyone do well this year with regards to rentals? What sort of earnings were made?
Just being nosy as my apartment is due to finish next year and i need 300 pounds a month to cover my mortgage

we were happy with our rentals. €7,000 gross rental from the apartments. It worked out at about 7% net return which as far as we are concerned is very good. I think it will depend on which resort you are in. There is an oversupply of properties in Bansko and Pamporovo so letting is very difficult and the rates are low

A solid 6% from me equating to E5.5k euros.

Fully agree with ensuring you have bought in the right area/complex. Its certainly no worth going for the cheapest one available.

actually 5.9% now just double checked.. last year was 4.5% so at least its moved in the right direction

our apartments are in Borovets.

word of advice with renting out ypur property, should be common sence really. We were looking to rent an apartment over christmas, emailed 15 different adverts on three different sites. Only two people emailed me back!!!! If your paying to put your property on sites check emails reguarly and respond ASAP. We booked within 24 hours of making the enquiry. Could be a reason why some people get a lot better return then others. Plus location especially in Bansko.
