Don't forget also that photos tend to flatten runs out.
When you get to the top of the gondola you will be able to see it for yourself and decide. Personally I would recommend taking the other chairlift first and doing 6,4 and 1 and see how you go with those.
hmmm i would not suggest it for the first time - i found the reds challenging enough by the end of the week you could just about dso them ok - the Tomba run is pretty much vertical all the way down isn't it Val?
I have to say that I didn't do it. It has been said that many of the runs in Bansko are a lot more difficult than in Borovets and Pamporovo. The most difficult run I did was Red 7 and I found the second half of that steep enough for me. I am only an intermediate and I agree that the Tomba is not really suited to beginners. There was a fatality on it last season too and I feel it demands respect.
At the end of the day though people have to make up their own mind once they get out there. ...
