Too heavy?

One of our party weighs 200lbs and is only about 5'7" We've all been training to get fitter for skiing but is there a max weight or anything... Will probably sound a stupid question but new to this i know ski's and bindings are weight/height accordant but is there a danger of being too fat to ski?

Confused

re: Too heavy?

It's probably better being too heavy than a stick thin supermodel up the slopes. i hear they're commonly seen wedged in the cobble stone paved streets this time of year. Confused
