Transport??

Hi, Could anyone tell me the cheapest way to get from Sofia Airport to Bansko??
Are there taxis outside the airport or buses which is the cheapest and most reliable??

there are taxis just agree a price first they will barter with you and usually drop price, if not try the next one...so on.
a rough guide sofia to pamps 1hr 15 about 50lv

How much do you think it will cost to Bansko though??? and what is that in english money??? are buses cheaper?? so you think il have a problem in getting transport to bansko when arriving??

no you wont have a problem getting to bansko, there are taxis outside not sure about bus. transfer time is 3hrs so i estimate about £40 which is 120lv

Alternatively look for the tour operator buses and ask them if they have a spare seat to sell to you which should be cheaper than a taxi. Balkan Holidays and Neilson both go to Bansko.

Also does anybody no the bus times and where they leave from or how 2 get them on the internet as i think it will be cheaper than a taxi??

My friend and i took a minibus from Sofia to Bansko arranged through our hotel which cost us 160 lev (about £60.00), granted that was for the whole bus so it would have been the same if there was more of us...
Its 160km approx and very bumpy in parts, a pogo stick would have been more comfortable...
If its possible contact your accomadation direct and see if they can arrange the transfer from that end...
