Just remember the average bulgarian salary is aout 150 Euros a month. There is also a train station in Bansko but we were told it takes about as long as the bus.
Hi
price for a taxi return from sofia to bansko is 140 euros so would cost around 140 leva for a single
bus is 7 or 8 leva and dosen't take much longer about 3 - 4 hours depending on road conditions (it only stops twice) but you would need to get a taxi to the bus station in sofia and make sure you negotiate the price first (around 10 leva)
approx 2.74 leva to the pound
