Ok after some advice ...and have a bit of a rant also
Going to Pamps tomorrow and Travel agent has turned round and told as that they can no longer provide us with the hoiliday that we booked and payed for (due to a misprint in cataloge)
So we told them that we want to cancel and get our money back as we are not prepared to go on a holiday we did not ask for. They however have turned around and told us that this is not possible and although they have offered us something else, it is ...

anyone else had this sort of problem?
whats the best way to deal with them?
Ring your local trading standards they'll advise you of your rights and which bits of legislation apply (mis-sale of goods or something springs to mind but I'm not sure) for you to get your refund.
I would have thought so but they seem to be giving us every excuse in the book and really making things difficult for all of us.
I've taken their ombisman and ABTA details and I think I might just threaten to take them to court.
I'm not that sort of a person and to be honest I really dont want the hassel of it all but they are not really giving me much choice
they can't stop you from cancilling your holiday, 1 you might loose a deposit, but you cand do this to any holiday 2 if the miss print effects the whole outcome of the holiday then it can be sorted by a full refund ie if they tell you will fly direct, but infact you have to take 2 flights or if they promised one hotel but then send you to anothe in a different area you can get it refunded.
if it is something like the lack of snow or the hotel have decided to extend while you are there then ...

you have to tell them what you want and talk only to the manager, don't be fobbed off
