We have just been informed by Balken that our children cannot travel on our passport they have to have their own passports .We travel next saturday, we have been told that the Bulgarian immigration rules have changed.Any help ,information would be gratefully received
If you look at earlier postings about kids on passports you'll see there seems to be some confusion about the change of rules. Our kids are also on our passports and passports were checked thoroughly (We returned on 8th Jan) but other than that no problem, which is just aswell as we didn't know anything about a change in the rules. Although we were told that next time we travelled we would have to have new passports, but as ours expire this year anyway we thought that was what they were ...

yes thats per child and have to go to passport office to obtain the passport . checked foreign office website children have to have their own from 31st jan 2006 . tour operater gave us no information about this . been to borovets for last 3 years . called friends who are going a week later on the 18th feb they having to do same .
