I spent 10 months out there with the Army, with quite a few trips into the mountains, as far north as Jasper, west to the Athabasca glacier, and once all the way through by train to Vancouver, that was an awesome trip!
I Loved Canada, I was there in 1987 with all the build up for the 1988 winter Olympics in Calgary. What a place!
If you get out in Summer, try to be there for the Calgary Stampede, which I think is July. Try this link.
