Andy Capp shipped a big container load to the Orphanages in 2005. He'll be on later and I'm sure he will tell us how he arranged it.Pete

Good idea ....if we can get the lorry I ma certain we can fill it and thinking about it I don't mind staying out for longer than a week so long as I can find somewhere reasonable to stay.re: WE NEED A CONTAINER LORRY
I've got some tents if it comes to it. Not sure about the toilet block facilities though, reading Amanda's reports!A container lorry opens up so many more options.

last year I contacted several people and even posted on some Truck Drivers sites asking for help, but got nothing 
The problem is, unless someone was going out with an empty truck, it would cost us approx. £2000 and it would make more sense to spend this money over there and buy the things that are needed which should be cheaper.
However, if everybody wrote to people they think could help then maybe we may get lucky.

Hi Dona, at last someone who lives near me! I am in Aldwick, Bognor Regis so not far. I may be meeting up with this chap in April as he lives quite a way from us.Are you doing anything on 28th March as you could come to my fund raising coffee morning, would be great to have someone here from the forum.

I have just had a thought, in a past life I worked in the Sales/PR department of a Logistics company so I have put in a call to my ex-boss. It's a very long shot as they don't deal with BG but I will do what I can to persaude him/them that it would be a fantastic PR exercise. After all, I only want to borrow a lorry and a man to drive it - not much to ask eh!
Don't hold your breath but anything is worth a try.

Unfortunately as a teacher I wouldn't be able to get the time off work.......because we get so many holidays they frown upon us taking time off during term time.
