There's so much we could send out to Amanda (including toilets) if we could arrange a container lorry.Between us on this board, we could collect so much that cannot be taken on a plane.
Surely we could find someone with a haulage company that may help, especially if they already do that route.
Any ideas?

A guy known as 80% from the SkiDVD site is already arranging something. He is starting a business in Bulgaria and is taking a van over in the summer. I am hoping to join him and we intend filling the van with stuff for the Orphanage.Will let you know how things develop.

I had the same thought. Not sure UK are likely to export much to BG?Maybe funding a man with a big van/lorry to drive collected items over there!

I'm collecting football kit for all sizes. If you do go in the summer, the kids need something to let off steam, so let me know.If he does more than one journey, I can donate a week or so, to go with him and if nothing else do some play therapy with the kids.

I can also donate a week in the summer if needed and can do some fun stuff with the kids .....I am a footie coach and keep hearing how much they love the game so could do some stuff with them especially if we can get them all kitted out. Only problem is I would be restricted to the school holidays as I am a teacher. Also with enough warning I am sure I could arrange a donation from the school of stationary and stuff. We run a shoebox appeal for kids in Africa where tthe students fill a shoe ...

This could be a really good idea if you can get a lorry as most schools do the shoe box appeal so would probably be able to arrange something similar to help our cause.

I'm contacting my local Round Table to see if they have any contacts that could help.I can also bring some kwik cricket gear, which is light enough to go on a plane and may be able to do that in May.
Just think what could be taken on a lorry - including goal posts.

I have portable goal posts for my team if we could get together £150 we can buy them a set of mini goals 12ft by 8ft to keep out there. They can be packed away in a carry bag for the winter. Do you think these would be any good.re: WE NEED A CONTAINER LORRY
Am asking local football teams for help. May get some free 2nd hand ones. Many teams use portable goals nowadays so may be lucky..I don't think getting suitable items will be a problem - it's the transport. There must be someone out there who can help. How about an importer of Bulgarian wine?
