WEATHER UPDATE 22nd Feb

Hi folks,
Generally temperatures are going to remain high for the next couple of days with Saturday looking very warm +6 or +7c below 1500M or so but, temps will drop rapidly late on Saturday through to Tuesday where it will be around -4 or -5c.
Good news is, there will be some snow for most of Sunday !!!!!
The only problem is that the wet weather moving in during late Saturday, could start off as rain but I am sure it will change quickly to snow but the rain is unsure at the moment ...

A bit of snow on Sunday would be most appreciated, just what we had hoped for.I'm a tad worried about the forecast wind speeds just hope they have that bit wrong and the gondola will be open. but hey if its not will just have to use the chair lifts.

Hi Mark,Along with everyone i appreciate your forecasts. Question is how far you forecast. I've had my allotted skiing last week, also enjoyed the facilities in the white house and Bobbys bar with the chilli rakia, Really enjoyed that Kas! (Lawrence asked sarcastically for another so my wife gave him hers Haha his face was a picture, sorry Lawrence!!)
Anyway i'm back over 30th april, what weather should i expect?

Jez,From Wednesday onwards, it looks like it will warm up again with a bit of snow/rain (depending on altitude) along the way with temperatures being hi again by the end of the week.
It is still too far in the future to be accurate and the weather can change fast so I shall keep an eye on things and let you know.

Mark, Mark, Mark, Mark, Mark.....I know it's not your fault but after all the great news on snow so far this season it looks like we are on for a bit of a melt :-(
Of course there will be plenty of snow left but it's the freeze, melt, window of nice snow, slush, freeze cycle... and no powder...
I still have a gut feel though we could see a nice dump week of the 4th....
