......Tobacco smoking in tourist sites to be forbid completely with a law from the start of 2009 are suggesting from Association of Bulgaria tour operators and tour agencies.
In many European countries the ban already exists and this hasn't reflected to the incomes of hoteliers and restaurant owners..........

it is coming to a holiday near you very soon.I beg it will be enforced even earlier because Bulgarians are one of the heaviest smokers in the world and recently the health services in the country are streching to braking point and cannot cope with the rise of illnesses related AND TO smoking which is endeamic in BG.Research shows that about 60-70% of all Bulgarians are solidly against smoking.
Please ask any BG City family with children what they want for their youngsters-they will want longevity not a future civered wuth health problems. Smaller countries act a bit quicker in situations like this so watch this space.
Pete as for the 40 sigs for 40 years when things change(lets hope not) the mind changes.Seeing too many 40-50s tipping over helped in a major way by the smoke.My wife is a doctor and she is constantly dealing with that.
My parents dont smoke,I dont smoke ,my kids will not smoke because: They have been tought properly,I have been shown proper way and my kids will see the right way.
if you want to kill yourself fast do it but please do it in your own room with closed windows.everybody has a choice how to live and die.
As for Bulgaria lets hope the ban will come soon and this will bring some normality, humanity -dust up those smoky places cleared them and the people will start going there more.Dont turn Bulgaria into some sort last post for the hard core smokers.EU will not alolow this anyway.losing battle lays ahead I am afraid.

We wanted to go somewhere good for skiing...smoking and. We learned from this discussion board that boro was good for all three. Thankyou to all those people 'pratting on' about things.
