Walking to the lifts in Boro

Can anyne tell me - is it far to walk from the Samakov hotel to the Yastrebets express? Especially in ski boots! If so, how would you get there?

Probably walk, but you can get the horse and trap if getting up really tires you out.

horse and trap or taxi . . . to the old T bar (now chair lift) take about 5 mins cost 30 levs. . . good way to miss the gondala que at 10 in morning

Hang on a sec, why is a 3.5 minute walk an (expensive) 5 minute taxi ride? That doesn't add up..

hi mat confusion is are you talkin of gondola to yastrabets or chair lift up yastrabets

Samokov hotel to the gondola is across the road. To the Yastrebets express is signficiantly further and not something you want to do in ski boots. Take one of the horse carts (if you can bear the smell) or go with the gondola and ski down the left side to get to the Yastrebets runs (2 or 3 - they have renamed 2 as the Popangelov now)

From Samokov hotel to Yastrebets express is a very long walk slightly uphill.taxi is the choice and around 15-30leva .if the gondola is chock a block good way to ski for few hours there and then go down all the way to botton of gondola to catch it it to the top.usually the yastrebets express is quite apart from the weekends where there are alot of locals.make sure on top you know which way to go .check the map on the back of your lift pass.
