Take no notice of the above jibbering of mad people, just cross the road and get on the gondal, its about 40 seconds fron the front of the Samokov hotel! I've been hundreds of times.

It's 40 seconds to cross the road and 40 minute + queue to get on it unless you go early or later ie after 11.00.

Yep, it was the Yastrebets Express chairlift I was after in order to avoid the gondola queues. Guess it's getting up at the crack of dawn then!
