I've been skiing for the last 7 days, away from Sofia and my office. Very slow Internet thru my mobile phone.Can anyone tell me briefly what has happened in this Discussion Board last days?

Not alot. PP has been absent for nearly 2 days now since his office party. Lots of people asking questions about flights, resorts, hotels, food, hair dryers (???), kids etc. A few prople have posted good reports on their return from Christmas in BG. LOTS of people getting excited about pending trips and trying to make contact with people going at the same time as them! Still 5 weeks for me, although going to a REAL SNOW dome (Xscape), tomorrow.re: What's happening here?

Usual questions about weather, kettles, money, conditions, food. But one particular area that caused a bit of a fuss was a guy asking a question about the go-go bar (I think he said it had been referenced on this site and he was innocently asking about it). Pamp Pete explained to him that this isn't the site for those kind of discussions and asked the poster to stop, perhaps mistakenly comparing this kind of chat with those about drugs and prostitution. This caused a lot of debate over ...
Usual questions about weather, kettles, money, conditions, food. Pamp Pete explained to him that this isn't the site for those kind of discussions and asked the poster to stop, perhaps mistakenly comparing this kind of chat with those about drugs and prostitution. This caused a lot of debate over whether it was or wasn't the place. Some backed Pete's stance, others didn't take it so well. The original poster apologised, but some people sent very long messages accusing Pete of playing God and whether asking about this was any worse than talking about non-stop drinking, etc. Pete tried to let it drop, but it seems some people still wanted to attack him days later. He seemed cheerful enough before he went off for his works party, but nobody seems to have heard from him since, even those with his mobile number. That's about it really. Apologies if I have mis-quoted anything.

Going to the new one in Castleford. There are a few of us going, some skiers and some none skiers - requiring lessons. The way things are going at the moment, I think it was easier organising the trip to Papms (I just hope our pamps organiser doesn't read this - I had nothing to do with it - I just turn up!!!!!)re: What's happening here?

There's been a few idiots putting postings on the board about drink driving / sex / drugs - all in all, not very suitable for a family discussion web board.
Pete's not posted in the last 48 hours, I did try to ring him at lunchtime, but there was no response. He went to his work christmas party on Tuesday night and we haven't heard since.
Lots of people came back from Pamps at the weekend and complained about the powercuts, but you get that sort of thing in high winds and snow - just ...
