Thanks Boarder I take it you booked your flight first and then booked with Bulgaria ski and gave them the flight details at that point.

Pete thanks for clearing that up for me, now I understand. As you can see I'm a little wary of booking other than at places like going places. I'm really not thick honest. You must really love Bulgaria!!

Thanks again

I booked online with Bulgariaski, and booked my own flight. I informed them of my flight details (they asked) and also paid for them to do the transfers. Last year they sent a rep with a car for the 2 of us, and delivered us to the hotel. A rep (Vladi) will let you know all you need to.

If you have not made arrangements for the transfers, I suggest you email Sirma (or whoever dealt with you) and ask for transfers as well.

Ski school finishes at 3-3.30 pm, but you can ski till the ski lifts close, which varies but can be as late as 5.30pm.

Gear will be given to you on the next morning of your arrival.

re: What's the best thing to do for collecting hired equipment in Boro?

I wonder if someone can answer this query for me. We have hired ski's but have our own boots now. When we've been to Borovets before wou leave the boots attached to the skis. Will they be ok or should we take them back to the hotel with us??? Maybe this is one for you Pete??

Well, we have our own gear but still leave them every night at the hire depot, (Pamporovo) with the boots over the warm heater tubes, or attached to the skis if they are all in use.

Been doing this now for 5 years without any issues.

They are normally so busy at the end of each day nobody notices. Razz

re: What's the best thing to do for collecting hired equipment in Boro?

We found that if you do night skiing that you have to take them (& skis) back to hotel rooms, Rila in Boro never complained about this, but the Samokov would not allow it (if they saw anyway Wink)

Thanks for the reply Pete, apologies if this sounds like a daft question, but you say ski school is from 10am to 12.30pm break for lunch and then 1.30pm to 3.30pm, I am assuming that it's one or the other? ie that you have ski school either in the morning or in the afternoon and NOT both??

Thanks
