Thats right Ally not many tourists ask for tradational stuff sadly stick to chips. My first day on the slopes last year I had Kavarma the waiter nearly fell over in shock!!
I will start with turshia, mixed pickeled vegetables, and rakia, than some kartoffi kufte, potatoe meat balls with garlic-yoghurt sauce, followed from my favorite Svinsko filet vreteno, filled pork filet.
as dessert a creme caramel.

correct me if im wrong but i think it was called pataknic ? basically a giant rosti / potato cake type thing ? our ski-instructor told us to have one, they were fantastic, ooh and washed down with a few glasses of chocolate and brandy !!!!!!!!!
