Strange - I posted up saying I thought the kebabs were nice and it has been deleted!!!! Though I noted I had inadvertently posted attaching to the 'regular poster' comment who mentions bistrobulgari - which I looked at expecting food and found it was advertising watches!!!

The calzone I had at the top of that big tower was superb, the problem was it took 3 hours to walk up there im my ski boots !!

Hi,
Kavarma is pieces of pork or chicken meat with tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms and spices baked in an earthware pot for many hours, very tasty next day. Sometimes you get it with an egg on top.
I like it very much, no stay in BG without Kavarma!

Why do people keep saying there is no such thing as a warm meal in Bulgaria, yes hotel food is very poor but some of the resteraunts are fantastic.

Hi Daniel,
no wonder, this summer we had a dinner at a Chinese restaurant, next to us sat a British family fat as Meat Loaf at his best times and had Chinese food with ..... ? CHIPS, brrrrr.
So they do not expect you ordering BG food. Have you ever tried to order in Bulgarian? Have a try and the chaos is perfect.
