What's your favourite Bulgarian Food

Hi all, I will be heading off to Bulgaria this weekend and am looking forward to some traditional Bulgarian food.

Just wondered what everybodys favourite Bulgarian Dishes are. I am quite partial to the mish mash - howabout the rest of you?

mmmmmmmmmmmm.....the homemade tomato soup in the avalanche bar across from the rila with garlic bread

found it hard to enjoy the local dishes, they are all served warm to cold......the ones i had were anyway! Confused

When i was there over new year my boyfriend politely sent his soup back to be warmed up. They were quite happy to do so. Perhaps if a few more of us did this they would realise!

Bulgarians prefer there food warm as oppposed to hot luck us in western Europe. My fave would be Kavama.
