I've tried to give some thought as to what would best help to get this board busy again and what
exactly people want from it. Skiing, (boarding) information is a major factor why people visit and
of course snow condition reports are of prime importance to us all. With modern technology we are

of course snow condition reports are of prime importance to us all. With modern technology we are
now able to get reports first hand from many those in the resorts so it's really important that when you
go you spend a few moments in the evening perhaps just updating us all on what things are like. It's also
good to hear your reports on your return, warts and all about what was good, bad or indifferent.
All we ask is that you are fair and honest.
We also encourage friendly banter and provided we don't overstep the mark the odd leg-pull is fine.
I'm happy to do a weekly quiz again if enough are interested, maybe on a Sunday evening. Let me know
if that's something you would like.
We did try running a Ski Bay idea a few years ago whereby people could sell the odd items of skiwear or
boardwear provided it was not a commercial venture. Maybe we could do that again if you want it.
But mostly we'd like to hear what you would like to see on here and we'll see what we can do.
Finally, in order to keep the board busy we need you to stick with us after you return and not just disappear
until next season. The board runs 24/7 for 365 days of the year and there's always something to natter about.
Yey up for the quiz Pete, am out in pamps end of Jan so will let everyone know my report upon my return and will post whilst out there if needs be.Site has been quiet and Iam as guilty as anyone for looking and not posting much. Happy quizzing and skiing
I think late january, we will have to many reporters in Borovez. May be we will have lifereports from all over the resort and Mountains
Pabs in summertime borovets is great for biking, if you are an adicted downhill biker, even great by road bike are trips to the Belchin thermal pools or a little farer away Saparevna Banja with the thermal Spa's and the Geysir.
I think it really needs a clearer route and be easier to find. Back in the day wasn't there a much bigger link on the front page?
It's now no longer the top search result if you Google something like "bank machines in borovets" ... that goes to Trip Advisor but it's there at number two or three so it's easy to get to that way, but we need to keep and engage these passer-bys. Maybe a pinned message at the top with an FAQ on the usual gubbins (photo for lift pass? Where can I buy xxx?) and ...

The registration process might put people off, so is there the option to log on as a guest, or is that asking for trouble/spam?
Personal stuff for sale, quizzes, polls, all great ... love the What's on your mp3 player/What's in your hipflask ones.
One thing this board isn't guilty of is being to cliquey ... well it is ... there are long conversations between groups who've gone out together, but I've never seen anyone being shunned by not being a part of that group, and welcomed into the chat.
So bigger button, easier to find on the front page and a big welcome FAQ
Some good points made Robert, but many of them are beyond anything I can do. I am able to monitor the board
and remove any distasteful content but what I can't to is alter any logistic of the site. I will however forward your points
to the guys in Sofia and hopefully they will take them on board.
What I need to be careful of is not to be over one-sided towards Pamporovo.

Whilst I have been to both Bansko and Borovets I have only been to both of them once, whereas I have been to Pamporovo
22 times, so my knowledge of Pamps is obviously much greater.
Im sure there will be no problems with being one-sided towards Pamporovo. As has already been mentioned in other posts there are plenty of people with good knowledge of Borovets still posting regularly throughout the year. A lot I know and they would all be willing to share there knowledge of the resort as would others who frequent Bansko. Hi Pete
I think the forum has just lost its way a little over the last couple of years and your re-appearance seems to be giving us all the little kick up the behind we need to bring it back to its former glory.
