As for shutting down the mountain what aload of rubbish! Its open all year round for people going on holiday not just for skiing but for summer sports also!!!

We returned from Bansko on Saturday and I'd agree with the comments that the snow lower down is quite slushy and rubbish by about 2.30pm, especially around the cafe's and gondola station. It's a bit like crossing rivers!

We did the ski road about 4pm one day and it was very lushy and rocks/gravel etc but still good fun, I'd recommend it, and def not difficult, except for a bit flat for boarders, it took about 40m I guess but some did it in 20.
