nothing in my hip flask as i dont have one...but mainly because i dont think its big or clever to be drinking while you are skiing, boarding or sledging. i thinking its a little dangerous and id probably put it on a par with drink driving.. now i could have a proper rant about it and try to hammer my point home but lets just look at the basics..alcohol affects your senses and thats fact!! hey, its hard enough staying on your feet as it is when youve got skis or a board attached to your feet ...
nothing in my hip flask as i dont have one...but mainly because i dont think its big or clever to be drinking while you are skiing, boarding or sledging. i thinking its a little dangerous and id probably put it on a par with drink driving.. now i could have a proper rant about it and try to hammer my point home but lets just look at the basics..alcohol affects your senses and thats fact!! hey, its hard enough staying on your feet as it is when youve got skis or a board attached to your feet...chuck in some spirits and its a recipe for an accident.. one other fact for you....you wont be covered by your insurance if you are under the influence and have a skiing/boarding accident..im not suggesting that any of you are going out and getting hammered while on the slopes and im no expert but if the doctor or nurse treating you happened to mention the smell of booze on your breath in the medical report then im sure the insurance company would jump on this as an excuse not to pay out for medical treatment..
just my opinion but worth thinking about cheers!!
Mat, you're right. A 'baby Guiness' doesn't have the same aesthetic appeal in a hip flask. Tastes even better though, when you're contemplating that steep red with the sun on your back!!!
